Mister Pink Positively Perfect

I’ve lost the set list, ah well, here goes and let’s get something straight, for those of you who were not too sure…Mister Pink is definitely not a Pink tribute band!

It’s been exactly a year since this fantastic trio, plus Kev the humper and Balding Bloke with his sound engineering, were last here and what a reminder we got of their incredible talent. Three professional musicians who’ve done their tour of Europe’s main festivals and music events with not only classic covers from bands such as Led Zeppelin, The Scissor Sistors and Jimi Hendrix but also their self-penned rock, soul and blues.

The traditional couple of sets finishing at midnight were well-appreciated by the busy Kings’ crowd so what were their outstanding numbers? Certainly Pink Floyd’s “Interstellar Overdrive” was very popular and a superb Zeppelin “Whole Lotta Love” with a great drum solo and Si Pink’s guitar on fire in the bay window surprised many however for me, and it’s on Mister Pink’s album “Pink On The Inside”, one of The Beatles’ finest rock tracks from the 1968 “White Album” entitled “Helter Skelter”…and judging by the crowds reaction to it I don’t reckon I’m far wrong:-)

Of course we want them back again however they are a very busy band, let’s see what we can do for you!
