Feedback Remind Us Of Their Reputation

Their reputation for quality music and entertainment of course! The band was a bit under pressure since their bass player was at a wedding and the lead singer, Jodie, suffering from an awful sore throat which he tried to kill at the interval with copious amounts of alcohol!

Fortuately Keri from Klout stepped-up to help her pals out and helped with backing on “Honky Tonk Woman”,  filled in at the end of “Boys Of Summer” and did both “Teenage Kicks” and surprised all of us with a superb “Enter Sandman” from Metallica.

So what does that leave us with? Another 28 tracks over two sets, all superbly sound-engineered by Mike. I missed the first set completely but am told “Start Me Up” and “Lil Devil” were well-worth a listen. My favourites from the second set were “Everybody Needs Somebody To Love”, “Play That Funky Music”, “Walk This Way”…by the way by Aerosmith guys in 1975!!!…”Pretty Vacant” and “Anarchy In The UK” were just magical and as for “Gay Bar”, what an awesome choice and the main encore for the night was AC/DC’s 1977 “Let There Be Rock”.

Unless you travel a bit further afield you’re going to have to wait until Saturday September 25th to see these great fun guys again.
